There are many countries that have opened their doors to tourists in recent weeks, so it is good to know the travel requirements of your favorite destinations. Here are 10 destinations you can travel to now, plus information on their entry requirements for US travelers. Always research the safety restrictions in place in your destination country before you travel.

The Bahamas

The Bahamas has reopened to tourists and does not require a negative COVID-19 test. However, all travelers must have a health visa, which can be obtained online.

Ecuador

Peru has opened its doors to international travelers once more. If you long to explore the captivating Inca ruins of Machu Picchu and discover the Sacred Valley then all you need is a negative Covid test (PCR or Antigen) result taken within the last 72 hours, plus an additional negative antigen test taken on arrival. You might be required to quarantine for 14 days, if you don’t provide a negative test certificate, so don’t forget it! 

 Jamaica

 Jamaica reopened to international travelers on June 15. All visitors must present a negative COVID-19 test taken within 10 days of travel, and complete a health questionnaire upon arrival.

Egypt

If you’re dreaming of a Nile River cruise or exploring the ancient pyramids, then Egypt is open to international travelers. All you need is a negative PCR test result taken within 96 hours of arrival, plus a health insurance policy. You will also be required to take a COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica reopened to international travelers on August 1. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

Mexico

Mexico reopened to international travelers on August 1. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

Spain

Spain reopened to international travelers on July 1. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

France

France reopened to international travelers on July 1. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

Italy

Italy reopened to international travelers on June 3. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.

Greece

Greece reopened to international travelers on June 15. All visitors must have a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of arrival, and complete a digital health passport. You may also be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test upon arrival at your own expense.
